Sandrine Milante

In 2009, Sandrine Milante began to question the impact of single-use packaging in pharmacies. In 2010, after several years of research in sustainable development, she founded EcoloPharm. Her ambitious vision then consisted in designing the most eco-friendly packaging for pharmacies on the market. In addition to the choice of materials, Sandrine pays attention to each of the details that have made her company renowned: an innovative design paired with a completely rethought concept that minimizes the impact on the environment, without ever compromising on quality. Driven by a profound conviction of being able to revolutionize and enable pharmacies to become «greener», she is recognized as an influential leader and a figure of change in sustainability. Highly involved within her community, she regularly gives conferences, in addition to devoting time to mentoring and sitting on numerous associations and consultation tables. Thanks to Sandrine’s will and determination, EcoloPharm is now the largest producer of medication vials in Canada and is the only manufacturer in the field to hold a B Corp certification in the world.
