Mrs Nathalie Ouimet is vice-president at Montréal InVivo, the Life Sciences and Health Technology
(LSHT) cluster of the greater Montréal. Nathalie is responsible for coordinating the development of the organization’s project portfolio. She is directly involved in issues related to innovation, in particular improving access to health data for research, improving Quebec’s competitiveness in the rare disease niche and involving patients in ‘assessment of the value of innovations. Nathalie is instrumental in the development of a large collaboration in the sector for the development of a major annual event, EFFERVESCENCE, the objective of which is to promote the development of public – private partnerships.
Nathalie Ouimet holds a Master degree in chemistry from the Université de Sherbrooke and started her career as Medicinal Chemist Research Associate at the research facility of Merck Frost Canada. She then completed an MBA at HEC Montréal and work for a consulting firm where she led studies for clients of several life sciences subsectors. Her major mandate was the management of a not-for-profit organisation responsible for technology transfer activities of hospital research centers.
