Hacking Health, and beyond – Workshop presented by Hacking Health Montréal – English only

What can we learn from innovations developed for deep space exploration? How can these innovations help us develop, on Earth, user-centered solutions, and promote their adoption?

This unprecedented activity, featuring a biomedical engineer in the space industry in Canada, will start with an existing mental health issue that an astronaut may face, in order to reflect on a remote health solution that would be just as applicable at the edges of our solar system as it would be for isolated communities in Quebec.

Participants will work in multidisciplinary teams to design a remote health solution with a focus on user experience. Experienced mentors will guide them through their thinking and creation process, and the teams will present their solutions to a panel of judges at the end of the workshop.
